Technical Efficiency of Cassava Female Farmers in Surulere Local Government Area of Oyo State, Nigeria

The study analyzed the technical efficiency of female cassava farmers in Surulere Local Government Area Oyo State, Nigeria. specifically determined respondents, examined factors affecting and estimated profitability area. showed that majority were their active year, most literate, married, had 4 – 6 members, experienced they small scale farmers. also variable representing farm size, agrochemical, herbicide, fertilizer, planting material labour found to be significantly affect production. result inefficiency model variables educational status membership farmer’s association farmers’ inefficiency. mean is 0.744 (or 74.4%). This implies that, on average, 74% technically efficient; hence observed output was about 26% less than maximum frontier output.The total cost, fixed cost ₦93,500.63, ₦40,806.25 ₦134,306.88 respectively.
